Mistake 4: Leaving Questions Blank
A blank answer scores zero guaranteed. Even a partially correct answer can earn you marks.
The fix: Always attempt every question. Write something ā even if you are not sure. For multiple choice questions eliminate the options you know are wrong and make your best guess from what is left.
Mistake 5: Poor Handwriting
Examiners mark hundreds of scripts. If your handwriting is difficult to read your answers may be misread or marked down.
The fix: Write slowly and clearly. If your handwriting is naturally poor practise writing neatly during your revision so it becomes a habit by exam day.
